Issue

  • "SwitchFanUnknown_Alert" and "SwitchPowerUnknown_Alert" health alerts are repeatedly raised even though the Ethernet switch's fans and power supply units are operating normally.
  • The Ethernet switch health monitor (CSHM) is configured to use SNMPv3 with SHA-256 authentication against the Ethernet switch.
  • The following CSHM data is missing or stale:
    • fan
    • power
    • temperature
    • utilization (CPU)
    • interface - only the port security violations and priority flow control (PFC) frame in/out counters are affected; all other interface data is collected via SSH and remains accurate.
