Baseboard management controller (BMC) 16.8 for NetApp AFF A900, ASA A900 and FAS9500 systems includes the following bug fixes and enhancements that improve reliability and security:

  • CFBMC-6032 - Enhance system resiliency when BMC encounters CAN bus errors
  • CFBMC-6776 - BMC SMTP AutoSupport feature is no longer supported
  • CFBMC-7421 - On some systems, the battery learning cycle might cause the relative state of charge to drop to 0%
