Issue

  • Event log reporting takeover disabled, unsynchronized log and nvmm mirror offline for HA Partner (& potentially DR Partner in MetroCluster IP environments):

Example:
cf.fsm.takeoverOfPartnerDisabled: Failover monitor: takeover of node1 disabled (unsynchronized log)
nvmm_error: nvmm.mirror.offlined:debug]: params: {'mirror': 'HA_PARTNER'}
nvmm_error: nvmm.mirror.offlined:debug]: params: {'mirror': 'DR_PARTNER'}

  • SKTRACE reporting "cpu hog" events matching to the event log issues

Example:
BSD_RLIB_ERR: rlib_send: cpu hog op=1, qp=wafl, err=-12
  • No errors on backend connections reported
  • ONTAP was recently updated to ONTAP 9.16.1
  • The uptime of the affected system is 24 days or more
