CONTAP-434999: ONTAP reports module not supported in Slot 4 of AFF C60 MetroCluster systems

Issue

  • The X60132A 4-port 10/25GbE I/O module installed in slot 4 for cluster and HA on an AFF C60 MetroCluster system might be reported as "unsupported" in an event message, as shown below:

Apr 08 02:37:48 [cluster-01:cmds.sysconf.logErr:notice]: sysconfig: 4p, 10G/25G Ethernet Controller CX7 card (PN X60132A) in slot 4 must be in one of these slots: 1,2,3.
  • The same error is displayed in "run local sysconfig -ac" and "system controller config show-errors" CLI commands:

::*> run local sysconfig -ac
sysconfig: slot 1 OK: X60132A: 4p, 10G/25G Ethernet Controller CX7
sysconfig: slot 2 OK: X60134A: 2p, 100G Ethernet Controller E810
sysconfig: slot 3 OK: X60130A: 2p, 40G/100G Ethernet Controller CX6-DX
sysconfig: 4p, 10G/25G Ethernet Controller CX7 card (PN X60132A) in slot 4 must be in one of these slots: 1,2,3.
sysconfig: No shelf configuration errors detected.
::*> system controller config show-errors
