Issue

  • In messages.log, a ping by the ONTAP Ethernet switch health monitor (CSHM) indicates "no answer:success":
    CSHM::helpers: is_IP_reachable:src/tables/cshm_helpers.cc:491 for switch with IP '1.1.1.1', isValidIP ping no answer:success
  • ONTAP Ethernet switch health monitor (CSHM) reports a "SwitchInfoUpdateFailure_Alert" alert.
    hm.alert.cleared: Alert Id = SwitchInfoUpdateFailure_Alert , Alerting Resource = am_kdb_qts_pri-sw2(FOC24261V6W) cleared by monitor ethernet-switch
