CONTAP-427389: Node in boot loop, message: 'MRPC Power cycle' while upgrading ONTAP image

Issue

  • On AFF A70, AFF-A90, AFF-C80, ASA A70, ASA-A90 while upgrading ONTAP image, node enter a boot in loop with console message: MRPC Power cycle 
  • Console log:

MRPC Power cycle will occur to activate microchip FW
FWU registration for pwr_cycle.SWITCHTEC_FWUPDATE SUCCEEDED
Skip: /dev/pass0 Not an Atlas switch
No firmware was updated, so no need to reboot
update microchip switch 1 cfg version from 0x00000004 to 0x00000005
