Issue

NA03 FW release for the WPSC model drives is a maintenance release of FW that helps address an issue with how the drive handles Skip Mask commands:

  • The drive encounters an internal event and interrupts Skip Write command.
  • The interrupt causes Skip Write command to be aborted resulting in Skip Write command timeout.
  • Firmware to ignore any interrupts requested by another skip command (or any other such operation) and continue to complete Skip Mask Page transfer before responding.
