CHW-3504: CRC link errors seen on CX6-DX NIC with mixed copper and fiber breakout cables on the ports

Issue

  • When connecting to 400GbE switches with a 100GbE NIC based on CX6-DX, where one port uses 100GBASE-DR1/FR1 optical transceivers and the 2nd port uses 100GBASE-CR4 copper breakout cables, CRC errors are observed on the 100GBASE-CR4 ports.
  • The following NICs are based on CX6-DX: X50130A, X50130B, X60130A
