Issue

 The NA52 FW release for the WCOF model drive is a maintenance release that addresses the following issues:

  • Improved drive latency performance that may cause drive failures observed as b/90/xx/xx
  • Drive failure due to frequent starts and stops IO.
  • Link errors may result in drive failures

  • While on down-rev firmware you may see EMS messages that look like the following, where there is an excessive timeout:
