Switches not reachable via SNMP after FOS upgrade

Applies to

  • Brocade Fiber Channel Switches (SAN and MetroCluster FC)
  • FOS upgrade to 9.1.x or higher

Issue

After upgrading FOS to 9.1.x:

  • ONTAP monitoring reports the Brocade switches are no longer reachable
  • 3rd party monitoring tools / scripts are no longer able to connect to the switches
