How to configure NDMP server to listen on specific ports for data connections

Description

  • Configuring -data-port-range allows administrators to specify a port range on which NDMP servers can listen for data connections
  • The option is start_port-end_port
  • start_port, and end_port can have values between [1024-65535]
  • start_port must be lesser than or equal to end_port
  • This option is modifiable only from the admin SVM, and the said option is applicable for all the data SVMs and the admin SVM.
