Issue

  • Unable to log in to a NetApp storage system due to maximum HTTP connections exceeded.
507 the maximum number of administrative HTTP connections specified by https.admin.max_connections has been exceeded
  • And other management applications such as Virtual Storage Console with the following error is reported:
the maximum number of administrative http connections specified by httpd.admin.max_connections has been exceeded
  • Slow response from the storage system and timeout errors might be observed.
  • Setting the option httpd.admin.max_connections from 512 to 1023 does not resolve the condition permanently.
