Description

  • ONTAP 9.7 and earlier does not provide a way to add Subject Alternative Name (SAN) extensions to the self-signed certificate. These can be added from a CA (or other methods) and installed in ONTAP.
  • In ONTAP 9.8 this feature was added, allowing the subject alternative names to be specified in csr-generation.
