Issue

  • ONTAP is periodically throwing errors that the object-store is unavailable with an internal server error:
Event:
object.store.unavailable: Unable to connect to the object store "FabricPool" from node
<UUID>. Reason: Internal server error.
  • Investigation confirmed that the StorageGrid used for the object-store is online and reachable but there is not enough free space to allow tiering to proceed.
