Answer

  • Change KMIP Server to new KMIP Server (Restore from KMIP snapshot) (Same server CA/Client cert)
  • Change back to original KMIP server (Same server CA/Client cert) when new KMIP ip changed.
::> security key-manager external modify-server -key-server <hostname|IPAddress>
  • Push keys to key servers where they are missing If need.
::> security key-manager external sync-missing-keys
