- The switch health is degraded and the system health alert shows the following:

- The switch is not visible from the cluster switch health monitor in ONTAP
- All ports connected to the switch are down.
- Connecting to the console of the switch shows the following:
The system is restarting due to inconsistent state.
- Power cycle does not resolve the issue.
