Issue

  • One node is not responding and there are users being impacted
  • Switch communication through a switch is being intermittently being passed
  • The following is seen in EMS:

Fri May 31 18:02:22 -0500 [node-01: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.droppedall:alert]: Total packet loss when pinging from cluster lif node-01_clus1 (node node-01) to cluster lif node-02_clus5 (node node-02).

  • network port show shows the cluster ports connected to one switch degraded
