Issue

  • The following SwitchIfInBandwidth_Alert events are reported and cleared after ONTAP upgrade:

[node1: cshmd: hm.alert.raised:alert]: Alert Id = SwitchIfInBandwidth_Alert , Alerting Resource = Cluster-sw2/Slot: 0 Port: 1 25G - Level raised by monitor ethernet-switch
[node1: cshmd: hm.alert.cleared:notice]: Alert Id = SwitchIfInBandwidth_Alert , Alerting Resource = Cluster-sw2/Slot: 0 Port: 1 25G - Level cleared by monitor ethernet-switch

  • The switch logs indicate that the utilization of the reported port is normal.
