Customer Cisco support contract association to partner CCOID failure

Applies to

  • Cisco MDS and Nexus switches purchased from NetApp
  • Valid Cisco SmartNet Total Care (SNTC) support contract

Issue

  • Unable to raise case with Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC)
  • Partner attempting to associate the customer's Cisco support contract number to their Cisco.com account (CCOID)
  • Support contract association fails with error: "Access Request Denied We are unable to grant your request. Your company information does not match an entitled company on the service contract."
  • Web Help Portal generates an error when attempting to log a case:

Pending Cisco Review

Cisco will review the following contract and send you and email within 2 hours. Product Serial Number XXXXXXXXXXX - The company name on your Cisco Account does not match an entitled company on the contract associated with entered Serial Number.  Update your Cisco Account to reflect any changes in your company name.  If you are an authorized third party, request the entitled company to open a request via the Web Help Portal.
