Issue
- EMS reports "ClusterSwitchConnectionDegraded_Alert"
Fri Dec 20 19:11:41 +0100 [CLUSTER-01: cshmd: hm.alert.raised:alert]: Alert Id = ClusterSwitchConnectionDegraded_Alert , Alerting Resource = CLUSTER-01 raised by monitor ethernet-switch
- And the same alert can be seen in system health alert
Cluster::*> system health alert show
Node: node
Alert ID: ClusterSwitchConnectionDegraded_Alert
Resource: node
Severity: Major
Indication Time: Thu Mar 06 15:03:16 2025
Suppress: false
Acknowledge: false
Probable Cause: Only one cluster switch,
"switch", has been discovered
to be connected to the cluster ports of node
"node". If a cluster connection was not
discovered, but the expected cluster switch is listed
in the output of "system switch ethernet show", it
indicates that the node is not currently receiving
discovery information about the missing switches.
- However from device-discovery we could see the both the switches to be seen
