Issue

  • A SwitchTemperatureWarn_Alert autoSupport alert is sent when the switch's sensor temperature threshold is crossed.

[node-1: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.minor:error]: Call home for Health Monitor process cshm: SwitchTemperatureWarn_Alert[cluster-sw01(FDXXXXXXXZD)/module-1 BACK].

  • Switch logs indicate the current temperature crossing threshold.

  • SwitchTemperatureCritical_Alert AutoSupport alert might also be seen in conjunction with this issue.
  • The switch may shut down if the switch temperature continues past the temperature threshold
