Issue

  • Unable to re-establish a connection between switches using wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) equipment after DWDM maintenance and reboots
    • Using a known good DWDM channel does not work
    • Port and DWDM diagnostics do not show any issues
    • Using new switch ports does not resolve the issue
Example:
LS Disabled (Authentication Rejected) with RAS error
authentication-reject was received with code 'Authentication Failure' and explanation 'Authentication Failed'.
