Brocade - Control Processor (CP) Blade failed, and High Availability (HA) is non-redundant

Issue

  • The stand-by CP Blade experiences a failure, causing HA to be non-redundant or out of sync.
  • errdump -a output will mark the blade as faulty,  and hashow will confirm that high availability is not operating.

2020/03/23-14:16:38, [EM-1033], 2226, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, ERROR, switchname, CP in Slot 7 set to faulty because CP ERROR asserted.

2020/03/23-14:16:53, [EM-1047], 2227, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, INFO, switchname, CP in slot 7 not faulty, CP ERROR deasserted.

2020/03/23-14:20:03, [EM-1033], 2228, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, ERROR, switchname, CP in Slot 7 set to faulty because CP ERROR asserted.

2020/03/23-14:20:18, [EM-1047], 2229, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, INFO, switchname, CP in slot 7 not faulty, CP ERROR deasserted.
2022/07/26-09:18:24, [FSSM-1003], 21471, SLOT 1 | CHASSIS, WARNING, switchname, HA State out of sync.

 Local CP (Slot 6, CP0): Active, Warm Recovered   
 Remote CP (Slot 7, CP1): Non-Redundant
