After power test fans on brocade switch are running at 100percent with lot of noise

Issue

  • After power test fans are spinning at 100%, that is one stream of power is removed waited 30 seconds and then restored the power.
  • When the power was removed the fans on switch is spinning at 100% i.e., 18000RPM.
  • Once the power was restored, fans are still running in 18000RPM.
  • For next 2 days fans are still running at 100%RPM.
  • No environmental changes occurred, fans should have returned to normal once environmental conditions are returned to normal.
