Issue

  • After FOS upgrade, port state has changed to generic port

Example:

Before switch firmware upgrade

Tx and Rx looks good before and after upgrade:
RX Power:    -0.7    dBm (848.2uW)
TX Power:    -0.1    dBm (987.5 uW)
 
  • No errors reported on porterrshow and errdump
  • During the exchange link parameters ( ELP )  unable to negotiate exchange between local and remote ports
