WARNING

Download of the affected SANtricity OS releases has been disabled from the NetApp Support Site until an appropriate fix is released (11.80.1R4 and 11.90R2).

Issue

  • E-Series drive firmware upgrade fails with Web Server 422 error in SANtricity System Manager:
    Error encountered transferring <firmware-name> firmware Package to storage array <storage-name> (Web Server 422)

  • The E-Series event logged located in System Manager Support section (Events) and the MAJOR-EVENT-LOG in support bundle indicate the firmware package failed authentication check.
