SANtricity Controller Database Error after reboot from upgrade or manual reset

Applies to

  • SANtricity OS 11.70.x
  • Disk Pools with 256TiB or larger volumes, and history of configuration changes (volume creation, expansion)

Issue

  • Controllers are in lockdown with error code OE Lt and OE LF on 7-segment display
  • SANtricity System Manager reports the following:
Alternate Controller Database Error
Lockdown code: 0ELt
The storage array has detected an error with the alternate controller's database and has locked down to preserve the data on the storage array. Contact your Technical Support Engineer for assistance correcting this problem.
  • Following (or similar) is seen during start-of-day in serial console:

(tRAID): ERROR: CrushStripe DeSerialization - Same stripe registered multiple times! Volume 0 SegmentID 0 StripeIndex 100586
