  • Downgrading SANtricity OS is generally not a recommended operation unless specifically advised by NetApp Support.
  • If an issue occurs after upgrading SANtricity OS and a downgrade is being considered, do NOT proceed with the downgrade immediately.
  • Customers are required to open a support case and consult with NetApp Support before performing the downgrade.
    • NetApp Support will investigate the issue, determine the root cause, and provide the most appropriate remediation steps, which may include or exclude a downgrade.
