  • SANtricity 11.7 and earlier

Answer

  • No.  After drive failure, a replacement drive may not be on the latest firmware revision.
  • If the replacement drive has an earlier firmware revision than what is currently installed, drive firmware will not be upgraded automatically.
  • Follow E-Series SANtricity drive update procedures if necessary, to manually upgrade drive firmware after replacement.
