  • Enabling Offloaded Data Transfer (ODX) does not create or reserve a dedicated or fixed internal copy buffer on the controller.
  • No ODX-specific memory region is allocated when ODX is enabled.
  • Buffer and memory resources used for ODX copy operations are:
    • Allocated dynamically per copy request
    • Managed within the existing SANtricity controller cache and memory framework
