E-Series iSCSI connection reports 1815/1814/180D errors frequently

Issue

  • The controller reports below errors:
    • Event type: 1815 ISCSI carrier has been lost
    • Event type: 1814 ISCSI carrier has been detected
    • Event type: 180D Session terminated unexpectedly
  • iscsi-statistics.csv records lots of CRC errors within MAC receive statistics:

NOTE: FCRCE = Frame CRC Error Count

E-Series iSCSI connection reports

  • The error counters under STATE-CAPTURE-DATA -> iscsiStateCapture ->  showIscsiStats(ISCSI_STATISTICS_RAW) indicates that all errors are from Rx (Receiving in):

  • But the target port (e0a) shows normal status:
