E-Series LUNs are not accessible after Oracle Linux upgrade

Issue

  • E-Series LUNs are not accessible by the Linux host after upgrade of the host to version 8.10.
  • E-Series trace-buffers logs found in AutoSupport indicate that the controllers are rejecting the host login:

  • Oracle host kern.log reports the following corresponding errors:

Ib_srp: unknown parameter of missing value 'max_it_ui_size=2116' in target creation request
Ib_srp: REJ received
Ib_srp: SRP_LOGIN_REJ: requested max_it_iu_len too large
Ib_srpt: Received DRP_LOGIN_REQ with i_port_id xx . . .
