Answer
Yes. the mixed capacity disk drive can be added to the DDP(Dynamic Disk Pool)/Volume Groups.
- The Drives must have the same drive type (HDD or SSD) in DDP/Volume Groups.

If the capacity of a drive is smaller than existing drives, it is not eligible to be added.
- If you must add unassigned drives with a larger capacity, be aware that the usable capacity of the unassigned drives that you add is reduced so that they match the current capacities of the drives in the pool or volume group.
Additional Information
- In case larger capacity drives are added to an existing disk pool with smaller capacity drives, and after all the smaller capacity drives are removed from the disk pool then the storage array will automatically redistribute (rebalance) the disk pool and leverage the complete usable space of the larger capacity drives.
