  • ESERIES
  • 60 drive trays
  • Upgrades from 11.70 to 11.80 or later

Issue

  • Multiple drive failure and impending drive failure events after upgrade from 11.70 to 11.90
    • Profile shows Impending failure (reported by controller)
    • Major Event Log (MEL) shows Drive marked failed
  • MEL may show timeouts to multiple drives
    • Timeout on drive side of controller
