Issue

  • Multiple critical events as below are detected by several E-Series systems almost at the same time
    • Controller wide port has gone to failed state
    • An IOM (ESM) has reported an exception event
    • Power supply failed
  • MAJOR-EVENT-LOG indicates that Controller wide port has gone to failed state is detected on both controllers

A:1/25/23, 4:41:03 AM (04:41:03) 9004 1710 Controller wide port has gone to failed state - Shelf 99, Bay A <--CRITICAL
B:1/25/23, 4:41:02 AM (04:41:02) 8350 1710 Controller wide port has gone to failed state - Shelf 99, Bay B <--CRITICAL

  • STORAGE-ARRAY-PROFILE indicates power supply status as No power input
