ServiceNow discovery failure when adding a NetApp AFX cluster

Issue

  • When adding a NetApp AFX cluster to ServiceNow, the API call used to retrieved disk information fails:
    /api/storage/disks?fields=sector_count,bytes_per_sector,node.name,serial_number,model,type,vendor,name
  • The failure occurs because the node.name field returns an empty value for the AFX cluster.
