SMSQL fails to verify backup by "Error Adding Raw Device Mapping"

Issue

  • SMSQL fails to verify backup by "Failed to Map virtual disk: Error Adding Raw Device Mapping".
  • Backup report shows SMSQL fails to mount snapshot by the error "Failed to Map virtual disk: Error Adding Raw Device Mapping".

  • Snpdrvdbg.log shows "Failed to Map virtual disk: Error Adding Raw Device Mapping" with error code 0x80004005.
