SCSQL operations fail with SCV error: Authorization failed, invalid credentials

  • SnapCenter Server (SC) 
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 
  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL server (SCSQL)

Issue

  • After upgrading SC, SCSQL backup and/or clone and restore operations fail with an authentication error with SC connecting to SCV
  • SC UI Job detail error message: 
    Activity [Query Host Information] failed with error: Connecting to VMware vSphere plug-in failed, error : Authorization failed, invalid credentials
