Description

This guide provides common symptoms and solutions for time drift or NTP sync issues in Unified Manager

Symptom
Solution
AIQUM time drift occurs because of VMware time sync VMware time sync causes AIQUM time drift
AIQUM cannot reach a configured NTP server Active IQ Unified Manager OVA time drifts away from NTP time
Time drift issue after upgrading to vCenter 7.x Forward time drift is not corrected by NTP service
AIQUM time drift occurs on Windows Server AIQUM fails to add cluster and generates error 'unexpected time drift'
Operation state of the cluster is "Failed" and time points to the future Active IQ Unified Manager monitoring of clusters stops after clock adjustments
