Issue

  • StorageGRID fails to start node decommission task
  • MAINTENANCE > Decommission > Decommission Nodes displays error after pressing Start Decommission

500: Internal Server Error
This procedure cannot be started or configured while an existing decommission procedure is in progress.

  • SUPPORT > Grid topology > [admin node] > CMN > Grid Tasks > Overview displays the decommission task in Pending

  • gdu-server.log in admin node shows that connectivity check for the particular node fails by time out
