  • This procedure explains how to map out an StorageGRID S3 object to an ONTAP volume that uses FabricPool to tier cold data to StoreageGRID.
  • There are several scenarios where this may be helpful:
    • Tracking down a volume with high tiering (read/write) activity to the capacity tier "StorageGRID" in performance investigations.
    • Tracking down ONTAP Volume(s) during investigation of lost or quanrantined S3 objects in StorageGRID.
