Answer
- During the upgrade, the ingest object size could be less than 1 MB, resulting in the ILM rule for using the EC profile not being applied.
- As a result, ingestion occurred according to the replicated copies for objects smaller than 1 MB.
- Alerts are generated when ingestions occur, and the ILM rule is not fulfilled, however, the ILM rule for the EC profile was not checked due to the smaller object size.
- Consequently, no alerts were generated for the site during the upgrade.
- The Audit-Explain tool can be used to check the object size in bytes during the upgrade timeframe.
