Issue

  • Grid consists of very full nodes (> 95%)
  • Add a single new node
  • New node crashes
  • syslog will contain entries such as :
[142669.702323] Out of memory: Killed process 6664 (wdogd) total-vm:2604756kB, anon-rss:120kB, file-rss:360kB, shmem-rss:2601648kB, UID:0 pgtables:5136kB oom_score_adj:1000
    [142680.852646] sysrq: Show Memory
    [142704.353312] IPMI Watchdog: Unexpected close, not stopping watchdog!
    [142711.279311] Out of memory: Killed process 51531 (ldr) total-vm:244082152kB, anon-rss:142116524kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB, UID:1002 pgtables:427444kB oom_score_adj:0
