Issue

When attempting to decommission a Node, the process fails early.
The decommission process starts but fails with the error:
  • Failed to run /etc/decommission.d scripts for the following nodes: <Node Name>
  • The Node is healthy and connected in the Nodes tab.
  • The node does not appear in the Decommission tab as available for decommission.
  • The decommission task is stuck in a Pending state in Grid Tasks.
  • Grid expansion is blocked; new nodes cannot be added.
