Issue

Sometimes it is needed to perform an upgrade during decomissioning nodes, for example to fix a decommission bug.

The following error may occur under the following circumstances:

1)  A current decommisssion task is paused

2) In the past a node was added to the same site as the current decommission task, with a re-used name, so with the name of a node that was previously decommisisoned.

An error occurred while performing the upgrade: Mysql2::Error: Duplicate entry 'XXX-SGSN11' for key 'name': INSERT INTO `upgradeNodes` (`id`, `site`, `name`, `host`, `type`, `cassandraStage`, `stage`, `lastMessageAt`) VALUES ('xxxxxx-c994-468c-8ca5-8789ef1bb493', 'xxxxxx-f369-4ad8-b6cf-751d0c54b36f', 'XXX-SGSN11', 'XXX-SGSN11', 'storageNode', 'upgradeCassandra', 'prepare', '2023-06-22 08:52:31')
