Node administratively down during Hotfix Upgrade via StorageGRID GUI

Applies to

  • NetApp StorageGRID 11.6 and above
  • NetApp StorageGRID Hotfix upgrade

Issue

  • The upgrade may show as complete in the Hotfix Upgrade Progress, but without progressing to the other nodes in the Grid.
    • In this case, there might not be any alarms, but the node itself shows as Administratively Down through GridManager.
  • Alternatively, the Hotfix Upgrade Progress may shows the error:  
    • Administratively down, disconnected or unknown. Fix the issues with the node first and try the update again.
