StorageGRID Version 11.9 and Later:
 
  • Tenant Bucket LimitUp to 5000 buckets per tenant.
  • Grid-Wide Bucket Limit: There is a soft limit of 100,000 buckets to mitigate scaling issues.
 
StorageGRID Versions Prior to 11.9:
 
  • There is no explicit hard limit on the number of buckets.
  • It is recommended to stay within similar above limits to avoid operational issues.
