Issue

  • Hardware fault has been detected on StorageGRID Appliance node and reports:
    • Alert as below: 
      •  Appliance compute controller needs attention
      • Appliance compute controller power supply A has a problem
      • A problem with a fan unit in the appliance was detected 
      • "A hardware fault has been detected"
    • Alarm CCNA (Compute Controller Needs Attention.
  • Upon checking BMC interface > Logs & Reports > IPMI logs, there was an alert for watchdog timeout reset

1465  BMC FW Health  Management Subsystem Health  Management controller unavailable (BMC hardware watchdog timeout reset) - Asserted
