NTP alerts for E-series received in StorageGRID GUI

Issue

  • StorageGRID reports the following alert for one or more nodes:

Appliance storage controller hardware issue

  • NTP alerts for E-series storage received in StorageGRID:
Either the NTP server's resolved or configured IP address is wrong or the IP address is unavailable via the attached network

The DNS/NTP configuration on this controller is either incorrect or all the NTP servers are unreachable over the network

  • Receiving the Storage Operating System Status (SOSS) alarm reported from multiple Storage Nodes via StorageGRID Interface
