Issue

  • In affected StorageGRID releases with stored object compression enabled, S3 byte-range GET requests can cause the LDR service to reach 100% CPU and significantly increase GET latency.
  • When StorageGRID is used as an ONTAP FabricPool capacity tier, this can delay access to cold-tier data and affect ONTAP client workloads.
